Cowichan Secondary School
Community-focused student learning and gathering place
The new Cowichan Secondary School is a three-storey, high-performance design-build project which will have a capacity of 1,100 students from grades 10-12, with a Neighbourhood Learning Centre and Gathering Place. Inspired by the architecture and craft of the Cowichan Tribes, the design evokes the gently sloping shed roofs of the traditional Quamichan village. Phoenix Glass is very proud to be supplying the windows, curtain walls, sunshades, entrance doors as well as the entire wall façade clad in aluminum composite and cementitious paneling.
