Vancouver Island’s Campbell River welcomes hotel
Located on Vancouver Island’s eastern shore, Campbell River has been named one of the top five quality of life destinations in North America. The seaside city of 32,000 residents serves as a hub to the Island’s Central Coast area known for its natural beauty.
A new 55 unit, four-storey hotel in the small seaside city is poised to take advantage of the area’s growing popularity among tourists seeking eco-adventure.
Located in the downtown core of the city, in an area known as Shopper’s Row, the hotel is a welcome addition according to Kevin Brooks, the city’s senior planner.
“Its prominent location at the entrance of the downtown, the design of the building and the site, will have a profound impact on the vibrancy and vitality of the north end of Shoppers Row.”
