Award-winning Woodward’s project features glass mural
It’s no wonder that this redevelopment project took the Landmark Project of the Year in 2010. A key component of Vancouver’s revitalization of the Downtown Eastside, the project blends the old and new seamlessly. Embracing the past of the area is an extensive 50′x 30′ glass mural installation of the 1971 Gastown riots suspended in the atrium which was supplied and installed by Phoenix Glass.
Other project highlights by Phoenix Glass include skylights installed in the atrium, extensive glass canopies and specialty sliding entrance doors.
