Phoenix Glass is proud to announce they have won gold at the 2024 Vancouver Regional Construction Awards of Excellence (VRCA).

Phoenix Glass received the Trade Contractor Award (up to $2 million) for TransLink’s Capstan SkyTrain station project.

Phoenix Glass supplied structural architectural louvers and provided the aluminum composite metal cladding (ACM) for the interior and exterior of the Capstan Skytrain station using Phoenix Glass’ proprietary panel system. This challenging project included highly complex building design angles and elevation alignments, intricate geometrical shapes and sloped ACM panels in challenging areas of access including; overlapping escalator and ACM cladded stairs, high ceiling panels, ACM cladded elevator shafts, and ACM work over the active SkyTrain tracks.
