Winnipeg International Airport was named by CBC News as “One of the Top 10 Airports in the World,” and by London’s The Daily Telegraph as one of “The World’s Most Stylish Airports”.

A highlight of the terminal’s design is a glass-based visual art installation by Jacqueline Metz and Nancy Chew that was supplied and installed by Phoenix Glass. The expansive artwork is visible from the Arrivals area and is a poetic reminder of the area’s landscape including a symbolic map of Manitoba.

Not only stunningly beautiful, completed in 2011, the award-winning building was one of the first LEED® Certified Candidate air terminals in North America.
